You always need a project that you can work on while reading something and Helga Isager's Robin is a very good option for that: endless stockinette in lace weight yarn provides plenty of reading opportunities. Starting with the decorated panels is interesting, then you need some patience to pick up more than 300 sts on each side of the panels, but once you get that done it's stockinette with only a couple of decreases along the way. The result is lovely and Isager Spinni is a great yarn to work with.
Pattern: Robin by Helga Isager
Yarn: Isager Spinni in colorway 8 S (195 g)
Needles: 2.5 and 3 mm
If you are planning on knitting Robin, please note the yardage. The instructions say that you need 200 (250) 300 g for size S (M) L, but even with added length to the bottom in size L still only consumed less than 200 g of yarn. Good thing is that I love the yarn and I might have some left overs from my other Helga Isager projects, so there's a good chance that I'll find use for the yarn. Ok, let's admit it: I already have a design for the left over yarns. Only need to finish my other projects to see if I have enough yarn left.
